Recorded a decent video. The barrel distortion setting works very well to keep the horizon a straight line no matter what angle its viewed at. The image stabilizer did not work well. It resulted in breaks in the video recording file. I really like the QR code method of transferring settings to the camera. I prefer to use manual mode and this makes it very easy to change.

I have been using the company's products for many years, and FPV and HD cameras are the perfect combination of price and quality. But the main thing is the orientation and understanding of the needs of the hobby community. I have been using the Runcam 5 / Orange for the last 2 years - perfect for my needs. I would like the company to also produce ND filters for its cameras (runcam 5 orange), at the moment we have to customize the solution to this issue.

The image quality is amazing, with a lot of different settings, I'm very happy with this camera!

I bought the Runcam 5 for use on RC planes and boats, its turned out to be a great investment. The quality of the video is outstanding, the QR method of setup is reliable and easy to use. Foer the price its certainly great value and does exactly what it says.....

Everything ok. But configuration only by mobile app very strange. More powerful simple change setting.ini in card.

I really like the RunCam 5 Orange. The image is excellent, the app and setup is very easy and intuitive. Button functions are simple. And the weight is less than a Session! AND I have really beat this camera up ... hard, and it has continued working well. Probably my fault from damage, but the button does not work all the time now, and sometimes I have to reset it to get it to stop. I wish the button was more sturdy, as these micro switches always seem to not hold up well. The only other issue - the color fades faster than it should in my opinion. It's a nice orange brand new, and in less than a year mine is very faded and dull. Overall a very decent camera. Thanks RunCam!

Both cameras, Runcam 5 Orange and Runcam 2 4k, were bought for flying, but as Iam learning, in the meanwhile I decided to vlog with them and, both are perfect!! Every time I go out I never forget the Runcam 5. Profesionals would say how can you work without a display on the device, well, sometimes the composition maybe is not good, but many other times is perfect and I have discovered that, working without a display is a kind of surprise of what you will get when you return home. Things look more fresh and natural, and the experience of taking a video changes totally of that of any other camera. Very easy to use, affordable and reliable, what more do you want?. Forget all this technical discussions about which is the best camera in the world. Runcam action cameras are perfect for going out and telling a story, not only for flying. What would say Lumiere Brothers if they could see such an incredible and affordable piece of technology? I like too its retro look, for me Runcam 5 is like a device from a film like 2001 Space Odyssey. Buy one, go out, and experiment with it. You will not be dissapointed.
