Hello. About Helmet Camera first model, i used t for about year, only one issue i faced is memory card needed to be fast, i did try to use Sandisk Ultra, but sometimes camera didn't recorded at all, changed to Sandisk Extreme, and never ever had issues again. Wide angle 155 degree is MUST for me, so first model was just nailed everything except low light capability, sound, and waterproofing. Don't get me wrong, for that price it was perfect.
Helmet Camera2: using it about 4+ months. It is great again, RunCam team listens and improve their cameras for sure. What i like about it is fixed sound, it isn't much, but no loud white noise that first version had. The exterior feels professional and firm. The mounts now was fixed and fitted click and go.
Low light is just another level. You can't compare even to Dji Osmo, it is much brighter. On fool moon you can see the walk pretty clearly with HelmetCam2. The issues i faced: Angle. It is MUCH narrower compared to first version, and this is reason i do not like this cam. Most of time i can't see the upper or lower angle of action. It is just too much zoomed, and i change it to first version but get back just because it have too good low light.
Next is Power on button - on first version it was much firmer, the 2 version button is soft, i accidentally turned it on several time. But as long as it runs 18650 batteries, it is no issue. :D
Next is memory card rubber guard. Almost every day on branches walk it opens. Sd card is firmly stays on slot and losing sd is nearly impossible, but as rubber opens the LED blinker again turns into problem. :D Tape fixes this, or cutting off the big rubber finger opener do it permanent.
So for me, if i could get Wide 155 angle lens to second version of cam, i would still have perfect camera.
Now i will wait for version 3 with hope for it.
