It is a great low light camera, don't get me wrong. A single Infrared lightsource in a completly dark room is enough for daylight trough the camera. But starlight is not enough to see the around, too dark. But if you need a simple low light camera and don't need to see colours, this one is the right choice.

I was looking for a good low lux camera for my homemade night vision scope. With just a very small IR flashlight I am able to see in complete darknes. The housing is small enough to fit in a rifle scope.
Mine came with a osd controler that was not working very good, and their customer support helped me out very fast and good.

I purchased the Night Eagle 2 Pro to try out twilight and night flying. The thrill of non daylight flying is better than expected! With a heap of RGB LEDs attached to the quade it makes for some fun flying and looks spectacular to! I can really recommend this camera it certainty adds a new dimension to quade flying.

Works absolutely amazing at allowing fpv flight after dark. I’ve used all the low-lux fpv cams and this is by far the best one for flying at night - PERIOD! If that’s what you want, don’t bother with any other fpv cam out there. Just keep in mind it will only do black and white and it’s a bit higher priced. But that’s basically the only trade off and for someone wanting the ability to fly after dark in same manner as daytime - it’s worth it. I highly recommend this camera and I would buy it over again. The black and white and price is only reason I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars so really it probably deserves more like 4.7 out of 5 stars to be more specific.
