Works well!
Posted by Jim Porzig on 6th Nov 2024
Works as advertised. If it keeps working, it will be better than the RunCam 2 I had a few years ago. I also hope the audio does not go into trouble line the model 2. It could have a better battery status indicator (show used capacity or capacity left in numbers).

A good upgrade from the RunCam2 series, not without issues
Posted by Marc on 30th Oct 2024
After a few tries with the RunCam2 4K I upgraded to two RunCam 6 cams. What I wish would happen is a more reliable charging system in cam. You really have to take the battery out, charge it outside the cam and then you have to re-set all the settings and date/time. A couple of times I have had it default to time lapse in the process. The battery is good for 42 minutes or so with in battery charge and maybe 60 with outside. If you switch batteries while in use, you lose the settings and date. A small capacitor would help keep the settings. The battery icon isn't very exact, would be better with runcam 7 to simply use percentage of charge. The second problem is the focus has an issue with the edges of the frame. The center can be fairly good, but the focus drops off in a hurry as you move to the edges.

Absolutely Wonderful Camera for RC and more!
Posted by Johnny Argrow - BullyBreed RC on 16th Apr 2024
I finally sprung for the Runcam since my other cams are too heavy for me to mount on my planes. This thing is absolutely wonderful. Easy to use, great video quality and light as a feather. I actually didn't need to compensate for the CoG on my 1.1m Pilatus PC-21. And even my UMX Turbo Timber carries it just fine. For cars.... the possibilities are numerous. I've already got some good footage with it mounted on my scx24. It's just so versatile. I highly recommend this cam for all RC hobbyists. Next experiment, I'll be mounting this thing on my boxing headgear and sparring soon! Great camera. Go ahead and order one now!
