Remote Control Version

Using the Speedy Bee App to set the Remote control function, you can start/stop recording through the remote control. For example, you can bind the recording function to the ARM mode, and the DVR will start recording when the ARM mode is activated. Otherwise, the DVR will stop recording.

Method 1. Automatic association (App iOS >= 1.0.8, Android >= 1.0.7)

  • Select your Flight Controller and RunCam DVR-S.
  • Select the Associate pin, and then connect the PIN you selected to the H/L pad of the RunCam DVR-S.
  • Select Associate mode, we can choose any mode. For example, if you want to start recording after the drone is arming, stop recording after disarming, you can select ARM mode.
  • Associate action, when the assocated mode is actived, RunCam DVR-S will perform this action. In general, this setting does not need to be changed.
  • Click Bind and Reboot.
 
Method 2. Manual association

Open the App (iOS >= 1.0.8, Android >= 1.0.7)=> select the Help Center=>click RunCam DVR-S => select Telemerty Control

  • Select your Flight Controller and RunCam DVR-S.
  • Select the Associate pin, and then connect the PIN you selected to the H/L pad of the RunCam DVR-S.
  • Select Associate mode, we can choose any mode. For example, if you want to start recording after the drone is arming, stop recording after disarming, you can select ARM mode.
  • Associate action, when the assocated mode is actived，RunCam DVR-S will perform this action. In general, this setting does not need to be changed.
  • Click Generate CLI Commands.

    I have use this RunCam Mini FPV DVR to recorded my fpv racing drone and its work.. you can record with arm switch very easy so you don't have to use buttons

    Works as advertised. I'm running PAL and it's recognized by the DVR (25fps).
    Would it be possible to write fw that lowers the mic input? Possibly 3 steps normal - low - very low.

    I purchased a runcam DVR Mini and it came on time shipping was great. The DVR recordes adequately one issue I didn't prefer was it doesn't have the ability to transmit telemetry once you hook it up onto the board you have to go back in and flash the MWOSD. Another issue I didn't like is that it only record at 30 fps and sometimes some of my best videos were cut off and restarted as it stopped and restarted it's recording at 5 minutes. I wasn't able to hook it up to my goggles as it needs a camera into work properly. I was told that if I just wired it in with the video in Signal it would work it did not. For the money it's worth it but be very careful when you put in your standoffs on because you can knock one of the diodes off or mosfets or whatever they call them. It happened to me I recorded one video it came off they were great they sent me a brand new one. I would purchase this product again if I had a need for it. One issue that would make me not purchase it again is the fact that it saves video in Avi form.

    Great small dvr that deliver what it say it will
    Would love to see better and large pixel in the next version
    And curapted file handling Incase if battery was removed befor the stop button was pressed

    Also lua script controller my be ?
