Love the color saturation

this is a nice good quality camera. currently installed in my dart xl v2. i am statisfied with the color and light handling of this camera.

Lens came a bit unfocused but otherwise the best cam i have tryed. I think its better then swift 2

As an FPV beginner I haven't been throgh a whole lot of different FPV cameras, but I can say that I am very satisfied with this one. The image is pretty nice considering it's an analog video system and can be adjusted to anyone's needs with the separately available control board. I crashed several times (some times harder than others) but the camera didn't even care at all. For that little cost you get a very nice looking image and durable camera. Highly recommended!

the best camera for my use was runcam swift 2 but now the best is the RunCam Phoenix 2.. this camera in low light condition will surprise you

Best camera for the money!

Great job on price vs performance, Runcam! I have installed these cameras in two quads and two planes, and they look awesome whether on older goggles or the HDO/HDO2. Colours and details pop, but remain more natural than other (more expensive) options. I think these will be my final analogue FPV camera. I hope you are developing your own DJI digital compatible one!

cheaper and Tougher than Micro Eagle V2

I have crashed just as hard with Micro Eagle V2's that didnt survive like the Pheonix 2 has...Recently had a bad crash to concrete from about 80ft, shattered my Unify pro race VTX, cracked my FC, and ripped the screws from the sensor board out of the lens mount in the Pheonix 2 (frame is plastic) BUT I glued it back to gether and it still works! I cant say that about my dead perfectly connected Micro Eagle...The image is nicer by a good margin and is noticeable in FS HDO2, but not such a difference with older LCD goggles. using HDO2 and Pheonix 2 is closer to HD than you might realize. you can see scraggle better than with other cameras, and have the same low light capability as Micro Eagle...and the Lens mount is the same if you want a Micro Eagle lens, because the sensor is the same size. for the Image Quality this little FPV camera is a great price over the Micro Eagle as well, nearly half price...which is always welcome!
