    Does the Job.

Posted by Mark on 23rd Aug 2022

Ordered this to replace an old Tactic DroneView. Wow what a difference. Great video. Long story short I had a plane go down with this camera on board, took about an hour to locate the plane and the camera was still running. So i now know the battery is good for at least an hour.

The filming is great and I like how when I am flying into the sun it does not black out everything

    Manual only for the Screen

Posted by Mario on 13th Jan 2022

As good as the camera is, unfortunately the manual in this form is insufficient. You can only view the manual on your PC. If you want to print this PDF file to read it that way, this is not possible because it is readable in this format. It would be nice if there would be a manual in PDF form, which could also be printed in a readable form.

Great camera. QC could be better.

Straight out of the box the camera was a fair way out of focus, so I had to dismantle and remove the old glue from the thread on the lens to adjust the focus. Other than that, the performance is great and it works very well. I'm using a couple of Runcam 2 4k's on a full size aircraft where the small form factor is fantastic. I can mount the camera in places where I would not place larger form factor cameras. This gives me better shots with a more unique perspective.

Perfect for Good FPV & HQ Recording

Posted by MaBaTa on 1st Sep 2021

The video quality is very good especially at low light, but at 4K-30fps the video recordings from my drone are a bit jerky. In my case this could be easily be solved by setting to 1080p-60fps.

    So Worth It.

Posted by Andre Rousseau on 30th Dec 2020

I have to say the new 4K RunCam2 is worth it. I noticed improvements on how the RunCam2 4K handled exposure, prop tearing and audio over the previous generation 1080 RunCam2. The orange is great and the camera put up with all my crashes. https://youtu.be/VRLft_K7S6U

    Still Early

Posted by Unknown on 5th Nov 2020

First I should say that this is the first piece of FPV gear I have ever worked with and that so far I have only used it through the phone app while I wait for the transmitter ad headset to arrive. I initially had trouble with the battery connection. It would not run off the battery out of the box so I thought maybe it needed a charge. It would work using the usb cable as a power feed and I got a nice image trough the app. I then found it would not charge either. It turns out the contacts on the battery were not formed well and connection to the circuit board was not being made. After a few emails to Runcam support, I put on my magnifying headset and gently bent the tiny contacts using a micro screwdriver for a better fit with the circuit board blades. All seems to work properly now.
